there were maybe 25 people watching and a roughly equal number of students/teachers playing :P
anyway, there were small jazzbands, playing rockin solos, there was a song in 7/4 or 7/something, which is always a plus in my book, there was even a big band!! (which performed really well, excellent dynamics), and more, unfortunately, i don't have a recording of the concert, but here's the list of songs with youtube videos of those songs (where i could find them) and their respective performers.

i was very happy i managed to squeeze in the same three notes repeated fast and in rhythm over an entire round of chords in my solo in billie's bounce, and it came naturally, as opposed to being forced (at least to my ears) :P
